‘apprends le français en jouant’:
learning French through theatre
BANISH your fear and find freedom in your
language practiCe
In French, acting is translated by ‘jouer’ which literally means ‘playing’. In Léa’s workshops, that’s exactly what you’ll be doing: we put on our actors’ costumes and learn French by… playing!
the workshop is composed of 4 elements:
1. WARM UP (body & voice)
2. GAMES (focused on language learning)
3. improvisation & role play
4. scene study
Adapted to the students’ levels and aims, Léa’s workshops offer an exploration of the French language through its most vivid form of expression — theatre. They will allow students to gain confidence, revise skills and expand their vocabulary through play.
These workshops can be organised in schools, universities and language centres. We also work with companies who are keen to expand the international vocabulary of their firm, within the context of team-building exercises, creating confident communication across languages.
